About the event
Nelleke Gorton, the creative force behind Nelleke's Culinary Adventures, is a celebrated chef and food enthusiast from the South Coast. She shares her passion for homegrown flavours and artisanal techniques at the Tanja Market, where locals flock to taste her seasonal delights.
Nelleke is well know for her role on the Australian River Cottage and as an international cookery judge. An accomplished cooking judge for Country Women’s Association (CWA) Land Cookery Competitions and across three continents, Nelleke brings a keen eye and refined palate to every contest. Her skill in baking and preserving has earned her top honours at Agricultural Shows including the Royal Easter Show in Sydney, and at the state level with the CWA of NSW, her cakes and preserves.
For Fungi Feastival 2026, Nelleke will delight attendees with a fungi-themed lunch and hands-on cooking class in her home making cheesy brie and mushroom brioche , sharing her expertise…
