Originally commissioned by the Bienal de Cuenca, Ecuador in 2025, this image is a still from the animated projection A Walk in the Woods. These works seek to combine and intersect ancient intelligence, aligning the symbolism of the Tarot with that of the folkloric knowledge (and applied usage) of fungi that has been passed through human cultures across millennia.
Judgement is a composition of Craterellus cornucopioides, a species of fungus commonly known as ‘the horn of plenty’,’ black chanterelle’, ‘black trumpet’, or ‘trumpet of the dead’. Together they form an image that is representative of an all-seeing eye / iris.

She is the founder of Cut X Paste @cut_x_paste, a social initiative that its supported by a growing community of collage makers and the collage curious. She is also the co-Founder of La Casa Verde @lacasaverdeelprado, an independent art space located in the Colombian port city of Barranquilla.
