Emma Anna is a Sydney-born artist, writer and curator who currently lives and works between Sydney on Gadigal Wangal Land, and Colombia. She is the founder of Cut X Paste @cut_x_paste, a social initiative that its supported by a growing community of collage makers and the collage curious. She is also the co-Founder of La Casa Verde @lacasaverdeelprado, an independent art space located in the Colombian port city of Barranquilla.
A graduate of RMIT University’s Art in Public Space program, Emma’s public art career highlights include Sculpture by the Sea / NSW Art Gallery Site Specific Prize - IMAG_NE 2008; Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture Public Artwork Design Concept Award - The Elocwean Rainbow 2017; Melbourne Art Tram commission - The Language of Fracture 2017; commissions for the Salon Nacional de Colombian Artists - Sol Yantra 2019; and Está hirviendo 2022 in collaboration with Fernando García Vásquez; the Bienal de Cuenca, Ecuador - A Walk in the Woods, 2025.
