About the event
Join Sofia Keady, Nutritionist at Go Vita Batemans Bay, at the Fungi Feastival for a relaxed and informative session exploring the benefits of medicinal mushrooms. This isn’t a lecture-heavy talk…it’s a practical, down-to-earth look at how mushrooms can support your health in everyday life.
Sofia will focus on three powerhouse mushrooms: Reishi, known for its calming and immune-supportive effects; Turkey Tail, valued for gut health and immunity; and Lion’s Mane, often used to support focus, memory and brain health. She’ll break down what they do, how they work, and simple ways to start using them.
The session will run for about an hour, including a casual Q&A where you can ask questions and get clear, honest answers. After that, stick around for a more social, hands-on experience with Andy from the Nourished Sovereign who will be selling delicious hot drinks and snacks featuring some of these mushrooms.
