Elektra Collective Unconscious, a dynamic ensemble of world-class musicians, joins forces with renowned fungi filmmakers from Planet Fungi to create a mesmerizing fusion of live music and film.
This immersive experience showcases the breathtaking time-lapse imagery of Stephen Axford and Catherine Marciniak, revealing the secret rhythms of fungi in stunning detail.
Set against this cinematic wonder, Romano (piano & violin), Carla (flute & voice), perform an evocative live score that channels the hidden pulse of the fungal kingdom. The music for The Mushroom Whisperers started life as the score for Planet Fungi's incredible Netflix film Follow the Rain which was written by Carla and Romano. For The Mushroom Whisperers, the audience are treated to the non-stop wonder of the fungi world with Carla & Romano's music played live.
