About the event
Join artist Emma Anna to celebrate the launch of her collage compendium ‘Once, upon a mushroom’. Signed copies of the book will be available to purchase on the day, along with a selection of mushroom-themed collage artwork and prints.
'Once, upon a mushroom' is a fungitale that stretches into the depths of the artist's vivid imagination, a place that is full of humour, fantasy and secret desire. Mythical and mystical, like the many mushrooms that pop up within its pages, 'Once, upon a mushroom' celebrates the beauty and symbolism of fungi, documenting a hypercolour world in which spawn and spores have taken over the reins of power.
